I am working with Reserve Bank of India, India's central bank, in the
Dept. of Economic Analysis and Policy. The function of our dept. is to
give support to the top management in policy oriented decision 
making. The
domain is, as might already be clear, Indian economy -- all aspects 
of it.

At this stage, my interest is still academic. But I believe there is a
large scopefor data mining techniques in economic analysis.
