DM: Introductions

Hi folks, I'm a senior consultant with DMR Consulting (a division of
Amdahl) in the UK.
One of my areas of specialisation is database systems, and I am 
working /
have worked for a number of clients on large data warehouses and large
text-content databases .  I am interested in any practical aspects of
distinguishing information from data 'noise', as clients don't always 
grasp
the concept straight away.
