DM: DM Introduction

Hi all, 
  As requested, I would like to introduce myself to people in the 
data mining list. 
  I am currently working in Oracle Corporation as a staff engineer  
in the supply chain planning group. I am also completing my  
dissertation at Syracuse University in the area of supply chain  
management, where I use some clustering algorithms to reduce the  
size of the problem and support analyses of supply chains. During  
the last few years, I have also applied different clustering and 
classification techniques in the areas of design retrieval,  
manufacturing and forecasting. 
  My main intention for joining this list is to learn more about  
different techniques in datamining and be in touch with new 
developments 
in this field.
