I am working as a financial systems analyst for Niagara Mohawk Power 
Corp,
a large US electric and gas public utility.  I am currently involved 
in
studies to segment our delinquent customers based on credit scores, 
payment
history, length of residence etc and am interested in using data 
mining
techniques to attempt to identify those high risk customers who are 
less
likely to respond to low-key treatments and who may be candidates for
service termination.

I will be on the lookout for other postings dealing with credit 
scoring
types of applications especially in the utility industry where the
regulated environment frequently prohibits the type of actions that 
we are
free to take against delinquent customers.
