Hi DMers/

I am greatly interested in learning about efforts to employ,
adapt or otherwise use aural/auditory 'displays' or
haptic/tactile/touch
'display's for exploring data in DM/KDD.

I'm particulary interested in the application of these
'interfaces'
for structured or semi-structured Web-based or Web-accessible
databases/
collections.

I am in the process of establishing a Web-based
clearinghouse devoted to Information Sonification called .
_The Next Wave(sm) _ and will be establishing one devoted to
the application of haptic/tactile technologies for exploring
Information Spaces called The Magic Touch(sm) [:->]

_The Next Wave_ clearinghouse will be established
at http://www.public.iastate.edu/~CYBERSTACKS/Wave.htm
and _The Magic Touch_ will be established at
 http://www.public.iastate.edu/~CYBERSTACKS/Touch.htm

These will be developed using the format that I use
in my clearinghouse devoted to Information Visualization
called _The Big Picture_.The _Big Picture_ is available at:

 http://www.public.iastate.edu/~CYBERSTACKS/BigPic.htm

and also used in _Project Aristotle(sm)_, my clearinghouse devoted
to the automated categorization, organization and/or classification
of Web resources that is availkabel at:

http://www.public.iastate.edu/~CYBERSTACKS/Aristotle.htm

Any always, any suggestions, comments, questions, critiques
and/or contributions are most welcome!
