DM: Software for Academic UseFrom: Mark Last Date: Sun, 12 Apr 1998 13:48:33 -0400 (EDT) Dear colleagues, I am running a new course on data warehousing and data mining at the Industrial Engineering department of Tel-Aviv University. The target audience includes about 40 undergraduate and graduate students. Since I am interested in exposing my students to up-to-date technology, we are looking right now for some DM software, available for academic use FREE OF CHARGE. Preferrable methods are decision trees and neural networks (others methods are also welcome). The program may be limited to small size databases (say, up to 2,000 records) and expire within six months. It should run on Win95. Thank you very much for your assistance, Mark Last --------------------------------------------------------------------- Mark Last Department of Industrial Engineering Faculty of Engineering Tel-Aviv University Tel-Aviv 69978, Israel Tel.: 972-3-6408173 Fax: 972-3-6407669 e-mail: last@eng.tau.ac.il ---------------------------------------------------------------------
