DM: Data mining on raw sequence data

Hello,

Is there any data-mining software which is able to extract information
from raw sequence data, e.g. DNA sequence data.
In other words, is there any data-mining software which also transform
sequence data into feature vectors.
I would appreciate any answer, especially from the data-mining 
software
vendors.
