DM: Help in polls & elections

        Dear people of datamine!

        I am Inaki Inza, from the University of the Basque Country, 
Spain. 

        I am trying to find whether there in practice have been made 
any
work in data mining or machine learning with the purposes to predict
the individual vote in polls or general elections of a country. 

        There is a Kohavi's interesant work with the ADULT database to
predict a person makes plus 50K $ per year. Is there anything similar
predicting individual vote?
