DM: Two new fuzzy logic and computational intelligence mailing listsFrom: Andrew Gray Date: Mon Nov 8 10:01:22 1999
Hi, We have recently created two mailing lists for discussing fuzzy logic techniques applied to project management and computational intelligence techniques applied to software engineering. The former is for discussing the use of fuzzy logic techniques applied to project management. This includes planning, monitoring, controlling, and analysis activities. The list was created mainly for software development project management, but other forms of project management may also be of interest to subscribers, along with generic issues in management. The latter covers the use of any computational intelligence techniques (neural networks, fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms, agents, case-based reasoning, etc.) applied to software engineering activities. These include, but are not limited to, databases, software development and testing, and project management. To subscribe to either of these lists send the following to listserv@smrl.otago.ac.nz subscribe fuzzy-pm-l <First Name> <Second Name> and/or subscribe ci-se-l <First Name> <Second Name> You should then receive a notification message from the list server regarding the list(s) you joined. While it not required, we do appreciate each new subscriber sending, to the list(s) to which they subscribe, a short introductory message outlining their background (industry, academic, self- taught, etc.), their work/projects in the relevant area, and perhaps a few thoughts that they would like to share about the topic.
