Data Mining Primer: Overview of Applications and Methods This lecture-only course covers the concepts that are fundamental to understanding and successfully applying data mining methods in database marketing, credit risk management, and healthcare informatics. Topics covered include problem formulation, data difficulties, generalization, and predictive modeling methods. The course is designed to be accessible to technical professionals and business decision-makers. Prerequisite Skills: No prior SAS software knowledge is required to take this course. This course is designed for Enterprise Miner users at all levels. However, this course is most beneficial to individuals with some modeling experience.
