The error message are on nearly no value as long as you don't include
the source files,

These global header files should give no errors at all, so maybe you
just compile the wrong file. Are you sure you have to compile C source
code files? - Or you use a make utility, but not each make utility can
compile a make file, so maybe that is a reason why you get the error
messages.

Where did you get the C source files? Maybe it is the EOF problem
between Gatesware and UNIX-systems.

Just a few guesses from my own experience.
