DM: New PhD seeks DFW data mining/statistical workFrom: Dr. Scott Nicholson Date: Thu, 23 Mar 2000 09:51:34 -0600 I recently finished my PhD in Information Science, where I did quite a bit of statistical and data mining coursework, and used it in my dissertation to create a tool that can identify academic research on the Web. I mainly used SAS and Clementine, but since I understand the theory behind the tools, I can easily use any tool. I'm searching for a corporate position doing data mining and/or statistical analysis in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area or in a telecommuting position where I can do most of the work from the DFW area. Moderate travel is fine, though. If you know of a position, you can see my resume at http://www.askscott.com/resume.html. If you know of someone in a company that might be interested in talking with me, please forward this e-mail. Thanks, Scott Nicholson
