DM: KDD system evaluation ?

Dear List Members

Does anyone knows any references where it is made an evaluation about KDD
systems ?
I'm not interested in any particular system, what I would like to know is
the most important qualitative and quantitative classification parameters.
In the paper ''Systems for KDD'' (Piatetsky-Shapiro et al., 1993), they have
made an interesting classification between KDD systems based on their
Versatility and Autonomy. Probably it will be necessary consider much many
parameters. Does exist any public KDD system evaluation ?
